I'll be keeping track of the build here for others to see as well. It may take a week or two to get some progress started. I am moving 2 states away tomorrow for a new job, so it'll be hectic, but I'm trying to get started as soon as possible, and am always looking for suggestions.

The car....




I will be doing a 5.3 Liter / T56 Combo in the car to start with. I definitely want the motor to be turbo'ed and was looking into running MS. ( MegaSquirt ) for the nifty options it comes with.


As for the motor, I would like to make 550-650rwhp reliably.

I will need:
-Forged Pistons
-6.0 Heads ( ported )
-GTO Oilpan ( to clear steering rack )
-double valve springs
-upgraded pushrods
-Cam
-???????

Any suggestions on those parts would be great. I'm not new to motors or turbos, just new to the world of modifying a chevy for boost. I'm involved heavily with turbo mitsubishi's and my cars motor is a little different when it comes to handling boost / power.
