uh, problems leaving the green? NAH, that was just plan-o-bullyin' the other guys you went up against.

You also tracked, from what we could see, even with the street tires, though your 60ft. was oviously slower. Still, that was awesome!!

Ya need to add zombie graphic to the rear window, just so everyone knows who whooped on them!!

KP, how much does elevation affect FI cars? I know you have gone to a bunch of different tracks with yours and i am sure the elevation is different from steele to the tracks up north. Any insight? I would think with a turbo car it wouldnt be too big with the wastegate maintaining boost but i could be wrong which is why i call on your 'sperience

Fun vid, car runs great. Pretty impressive to run 11.1's on street tires too, at 0DA that's like a 10.5 probably.

For everyone who has wondered about spool time on the rearmount, there are two examples in the video of how fast it spools when I have everything working right and i'm on my game. On the race with the black car you can see me prestaged, then bump it in and stage. I then go WOT and leave on 6psi. On the 10.55 pass I'm leaving on 6psi as well and you can hear when I go WOT. When I don't have any exhaust leaks due to a gasket, the car spools really fast.

Oh, 2.5" exhaust (less surface area) from manifolds to the turbo F T W

I can go 10's on the 17" nittos once I learn them. My fastest ET on them was 11.01 @ 131 leaving off the footbrake at 2psi on 14psi boost.

My next set of tires is definately going to be radial based. The car felt like an arrow on the nittos compared to the ET streets.

How much do you guys think a set of skinnies and some 15" rear wheels (i'm on 16" et streets) would improve my 60's? The 10.55 pass in the video was on a 1.67 60'

Depends on how big the turbo is. At higher elevation you are going to get increased intake temps since the turbo is going to be working harder. How much that is is pretty subjective. Since my boost is fixed and will vary with elevation my car reacts like a NA car almost exaclty. I'm sure Zombie's car would pick up quite a bit at lower elevation, at least 80% of what the DA calcs say just by lower IAT and quicker spool at the same boost level.

A lot has to do with tuning as well, you can get away with more timing and less fuel at higher elevations (less air) so its very hard to predict, but I would bet at sea level with 50* air with a good 60 foot Zombie's car would be capable of running very low 10s/high 9s.

Go ahead, my friend Jon (1320) and I always make fun of my car. He built the car and does all my mechanical and fab work and does a nice job of it too. 90% of my setup is built out of other peoples junk and stuff Jon had/has laying around his monster garage.

If you wanna make fun of something though, you remember the van in the first run of my video... that was Jon making some base runs on the stock AWD van Guess what phase 2 is.

The van is sitting in the driveway right now. A freind bought it for his growing family. Funny thing is, is pretty much the same as a ss truck just with the 5.3. Its getting black 20's with 275-45 tires, a rear sway bar from an ss truck since the van doesnt come with one, shocks oh and about another 250 hp. With 6.0 heads arps etc the compression will be 8.5 - 1 and it has a lot of room for a giant intercooler. Its an 04 awd xpress van, seats 8 and they are low cost....it was 18k and pretty loaded. Now if I can atleast get it in the 13's....maybe 12's, then sport utility vehicle will have meaning.

Zombies has a ways to go, I predict 140 mph will fall next feb-march and he will have company from a few others Im doing as well.
