Procharger Question (Nitrous Related)
Okay guy's, Im gonna go ahead and shoot a 75 dry shot on top of my boost to cool things down as well as give me that extra hit. Now my question is, where do I need to spray from? Friend of mine told me I should do it before the Intercoolers (Which I could mount the nozzle in the metal Y pipe before it splits to go to each cooler). Or should I spray it like normal, about a foot from the TB? If I were to spray it before the TB, Where could I mount the nozzle? The only place I really see that would work is in the Plastic Procharger Box that both sets of piping feed into. But would the boost push the nozzle out of its threads (might sound like a dumb question but Im not sure)?

I have no idea what you're refering to by "cooling" things down with nitrous. I'm pretty sure that it will lean it out making the combustion temps higher. but that's just my .02 and I could be wrong.

Im referring to Nitrous cooling the Air Intake temps. I probably worded it a bit differently than I should have but Im not very good at describing things or with my grammar. Sorry for the Confusion...

No, you worded it fine. He just doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.

With a proper tune, he shouldnt have anything to worry about and the cooling properties of N2O will allow for additional power (a 50 shot is more like a 75-100 shot when combined with FI) as well as an increase in rev speed off the line...I say, that N2O is good stuff!

Or if your just going to cool stuff down go with a Methonal kit, I am doing meth and a nitrous kit on my car, nitrous may or may not be used but it sure does look good with the new plates N2O Outlet is cranking out. Where you are not worried about spool up time I would say meth will work great for you, you could even swap pullies and make some more boost.

I agree with Boostaholic, Use a meth/alky/water kit instead of no2. With meth you are adding fuel at the same time as removing heat from the intake charge. Also, no2 will raise your cylinder pressures through the roof and could cause major head gasket issues if not bottom end issues.

I thought about methanol but I already have all the things needed for Nitrous. If the bottom end wont hold up I guess it will be a good excuse to step it up to a 408.
Thanks Again,
