Started re-tuning at Drag Strip with GWP 422
I expect when I bump my boost back up to 10 PSI, I should be much quicker AND faster than what I was last year (10.98 @ 126 MPH)!

Here goes...
-----
At this 8th mile track in Benson, NC, with their minimal prep on Test-n-Tune night, running 5 - 7 PSI (that means I see 5 PSI at 6000, peaking about 7 PSI at 6500). I did not have headers when I made this run.
1/8th-Mile Times AFTER ATI/GWP D-1SC Procharger at 5-7 PSI with BFG Drag Radials:
1.78 60', 7.79 ET, 89.21 MPH!
This was a cooler, fall season run (Late October)
-----
Keep in mind this is my first drag-strip race at this track since last year, so I was a bit rusty, and I only had a chance for three runs.
About 5 PSI at 6000, peaking about 7 at first, 6400 RPMs, then 6800 RPMs.
1/8th-Mile Times AFTER GWP 4222, Headers and ATI/GWP D-1SC Procharger at 5-7 PSI with M/T ET Streets:
1.83 60', 7.45 ET, 96.14 MPH
It was hot, and the iron block does hold heat longer.

These ET Streets are DEFINITELY more hooking than BFG's, but the torque of this motor would not let me hook any better on this track.
Fayetteville's 1/4-mile track will be a different story. I did a 1.63 60' there on BFG's.
(Let me mention, Benson is more fun from an entertainment perspective... the crowds are huge and there is lots of pretty scenery.
)Let me say, according to EFILive, this engine never stopped making power before shift.
Kenny had the camshaft ground to make power as high as 7500 RPMs, from what I remember.
He has told me, as long as I have the fuel there and don't hear detonation, 7000 RPM shifts should be plenty safe for this engine.
When I up the boost, I will let it spin higher.
I will go to the dyno first, to make sure of my A/F ratio at all RPMs.
But, I have O2's mostly around 930 to 950 mV in 1st, decreasing to about 910 to 930 in 3rd.
Oh... on the interstate going back home, engine temps came back down, the car leaned out AND KR was less.
It's so strong, I have to control the wheel carefully, because it loses traction on the 1-2 shift, even on the track with ET Streets!
What is your raceweight?
I was going 7.0/98-99mph in the 1/8th just on motor with my old 422ci iron block NA.
I think those numbers work out to like an 11.40 or so.
I ran 11.32 123.9 MPH at Fayetteville when I had that crazy belt-slipping fiasco and was using the 42# injectors.
I was intermittently running between 5 and 8 PSI.
This motor is built low compression, so it can take advantage of boost... I think he recommended as high as 13 PSI.
At the scales, it measured 4000 with me in it.

this motor made 3 1/2 tenths quicker Elapsed Time and was 7 MPH faster in the 8th mile!

Steve (justme) went a bit over 100mph in the 8th with his full weight A4 TA w/2.73's and vortech'd 346 at ~10psi.
I would expect when you see 10psi and have it tuned you should crush that.
You should be able to go like 106-108mph at the 1/8th and like 6.70's with a lot of power.

Cool ride.
and I thought my 3840lb race weight porker was heavy(me 220).Looking forward to your updates on progress,I see low 10s in the near future
