I had the same problem. My oil pressure was falling by 5k. So I put 8 quarts and it went away. Alot of persons dont really watch that when driving. Luckly we were tuning and caught it. And this new money pit I am building is not worth me loosing an engine. I am in no way bashing anyone for running a stock oil pan. But Im going to sell my stock pan for $100 to $125 and just pay the difference.
