forged internals? i want to raise my boost ..preferably from 8 to 12..
i want to get forged internals. How much am i looking to spend. i know its like 4,000 but just to get a ballpark estimate from other people. And also, include labor cuz im not a mechanic (forged pistons, rods, crankshaft)

Id say around 3500 if you shop around. My Mahle pistons and Scat h beams were $1075 plus $400 to bore and hone the block, balance the rotating assembly, and fit the pistons. Then add in labor. Add on the little stuff while your in there, oil pump, gaskets, head studs?, etc.
You can get a nice 347 CID forged shortblock between $3000 and $3500. Also check the for sale section. Sometimes you can find good deals on new or near new shortblocks. You can also sell your old shortblock for a couple hundred to help off the cost. To install the new shortblock will run between $1000 and $1500 depending on where you go.
