painted FMIC have any of you painted yours?? if so did it hurt it in any way??? does it still cool the charge as it should?? can i see pics please?? and what kind of paint did you use?? thnaks yall

ricky i dont think you have a FMIC, you thinking about getting one for the silver car?
like inspector said they make paint for radiators and such that you can use. i will help you out when you get back if you still wanna do it

IMO I would not paint it. There is no way any type of paint is going to conduct/transfer heat anything close to metal. Unless you are running one of those electric superchargers, I would not painted your intercooler.

Eastwood Radiator paint works fine if you want to go stealthy and you go light on the paint. It has a high carbon black content to conduct heat. I used it on my Bell Intercooler (front side only) and have had excellent results, and you can not see the FMIC even if you are looking straight at the front of the car.
