sdce owners chime in please

i just put my setup on the car with the supplied pulleys 7.25/3.4 and im only seeing about 14 psi. i was expecting at least 16. am i getting some slip still or am i bleeding boost somehow, or is this just what my setup will make at that impeller speed?

Depends on your cam/compression/rpm/alitude

I see 15.5psi @ 7100rpm with the 7.25/3.4 with my current 9.2:1 232/242 cam 347 and the D1SC at around 2000'.

maybe thats just what its supposed to make with the 7.25/3.4 at 6500. im running a 347, 9.5:1 228/232 and the d1sc at sea level

I only see 10#

What size belt are you running? I may try the 3.4 with a new belt.

I see 14-14.5psi @ 6500 but my cam is a little bigger. I would just check everything for leaks, make sure your bypass is sealing well and you are runing a good check valve on the PCV (if you use a PCV) and thats about all you can do.

If all you are going to run it to is 6500 you still have a little more pulley to go, maybe try a 3.2 and see where you are at and if the belt holds.
