Another D1 in the 10s
This was in the high 80s to low 90s so I'm sure it's capable of a lot more in some nice 60 degree weather. Heres the vid.

I know, but I want to be cool on the internet, where rwhp rules all!

Got to remember dragstrip numbers arent corrected and on a 86 degree day A2A procharged cars arent exactly in their prime.
For example if you take and correct his ET/MPH to sea level it comes out to 10.10 @ 132 (2700' at Byron at 3pm Friday) and that still only comes out 590rwhp @ 3700lbs. But SAE correction is not sea level correction, confused yet, but wait the converter was locked on the dyno but not at the track

Anyhow, my point is just enjoy it and have fun with it, the dyno spit those numbers out and so did the dragstrip so they are both 'real.' Either way 10.40s with a stock bottom end full weight D1SC car on a 86 degree day is pretty impressive IMO.

Kp, i like it when you post your dyno numbers. I can search the 'net for a calculator that makes mine better than yours and then i can thump my chest!! (my e-dick is bigger than yours
)rufretic....great numbers with the weight. A GOOD converter like KP always preaches would pick up most everyones et that posts here, including mine. Forced induction converters seem to be tough to get right...especially turbo cars. I will get a good one one day when my dyno numbers wont pass Kp

Its all just numbers anyhow, like I always say, as long as you think you are getting all the power/ET out of the parts you are using then be happy.
It's shifting at 6900rpms. When I first did my stall, it was doing the same thing as yours. We figured out that it needed a lower mph on the shift points and that fixed it. If it doesn't hit the mph it's set to shift at before it hits the rpm it's set to shift at, it will bounce off the limiter until it hits the right mph and then shift. Not sure if thats the problem your having but it's worth a shot.
I do know before I had the procharger and was making 408rwhp locked, I was still beating 6-speeds with 420+. A lot more goes into it than rwhp though so I'm not sure how relavent that is.
i've come to agree with kp and my engine builder... screw the dyno and send the car to the track.... mine ran 6.72 with a 1.50 60ft while wheel hopping with stock front tires and a 200+ ECT on take off.... but this was with only 572rwhp
now that i have shocks and skinnies and will be able to dial hte car in on some drag radials im sure a 6.5x with a decent 60' is in the bag...
right now im just running a true radial class (non competition tires only) and able to hit 1.62 60' and ease on the gas to make a 7.21 8th mile....
i like my procharger too
