I was on race gas when this happened also.Not sure if it was detonating. Tuner said nothing about it,but dosn't mean it was happening?

That is the bad thing about me not tuning it. I leave it in the hand's of my tuner.So I do not know?

 

When you push water you will always push water till you change the gaskets.( I found this on a few cars)

For 14lbs I would say there was too much timing or lack of fuel which detinated the motor and lifted a head. No biggie.Replace the gaskets and lower the timing/check A/F.I can't see twins on a 370ci being a problem with only 14lbs.

 

Sound's good. The plan of attack is to change out the gasket's and put some cutout's on it and then do a retorque after a cool down.Then back to the dyno and check the tune.

 

It's weird that this didn't happen until the Six Speed went in and you went back for a retune.
