Oh - so the BW was divided vs. a non divided 76, you would think the BW would spool much better in that case... altho, I suppose the manifolds and piping weren't divided.

still interesting info.

I still have to get ahold of you on the phone so I can rack you brain about some stuff. We are looking at doing alot of testing with these both on our import builds (RSX, B16, SR20) and on a local race car (430 Drag Radial 7.90s)...

Correct with the piping and all being undivided its a mute point. No difference.

Let us know on the turbos. Our little FI series units are making great power on the ones that have left here already.

DrTurbo, your site says ST80 is good for upto 1300HP. Does it mean that at least 1000-1050whp should be achievable?

Also, ST76 rated at 1200HP - would it produce at least 950whp with right tuning?

I would say its possible on a manual trans or a auto with a locked conveter. Running through something like a 400 with a stall those numbers would be a little bit of stretch.

Its its very possible with a ST80 to make those #'s. But it would require stock cubes. Remember compressor maps are only as good as the PR your operating the turbo at.

Do you mean that at my 383ci power would be lower because of lower efficiency?

Maybe you could advice me couple of turbo's that will suit my street/strip 383ci? I want boost starting at 3200-3500, and be able to squeeze some 850whp

Maybe a stupid question, but... I have a built 383 LT1, M6, STS Turbo. I currently have their GT67 turbo. Would i see an increase in HP by going to one of these turbos? Lower back pressure? I only run 12lbs of boost. Thanks

Yes, HP will climb since BP will drop and efficiency will go up over that 67. The only downfall is some added lag, but its not much if properly sized on the exhaust side.

You'll need an 80mm turbo more then likely, but will be difficult to have full boost by 3200.

TC76 will outspool all of them, and the ST80 will outpower them, 76GTS would be in the middle.

**Best spool-up would be 1)TC76 2)76GTS 3)ST80
And i know im buggin the **** outta u but please put them in order of power if all circumstances were ideal and equal
**Most efficient/most power would be 1)ST80 2) ??? 3) ???
