Default F1A LS2 402 Build PROGRESS (PICS INSIDE)

Hey guys, Im almost there, here are some pics of the car at Behind Bars Race Cars in IL, Chris customized a kit for my car which included new chromoly bumper core, with mounting tabs for his custom 28" core intercooler he aslo did all the tubing out of 3.5 and 4" aluminum piping, I was very impressed.. everything is out at the powder coater now so figured i would share some pics.

Not even, descreened and ported might get you 500rwhp or so. Unless you go to a 2 BAR SD you just have to add fuel with the PE when it pegs and watch for weather changes. Worked for me for a year but I eventually went with a BS3 so I dont have to change tunes all the time depending on the weather, I dont even have a wideband meter in the car any more since I trust the BS3 handling it.

I run 730 RWHP through my maf, no problems. I've driven the car in 90 degree weather and 25 degree weather, no problems. I have a good tuner though....

I run a 85mm SLP maf and still works at 700rwhp... if your referring to stock maf you will need to upgrade... you'll want to put the maf before the tb and after the i/c... otherwise its comin along pretty good...

You can throw away the MAF's on 98's Done a few already that you only need a 2 bar sensor.

I thought HP Tuners was selling a 1998 3 bar setup.

Car looks nice, should make big power with that combo. What are you hoping for at the track?

Default Intake Setup, Track

My Intake setup is a Victor Jr, With a Nitrous Dave's Elbow, and a NW TB. I am hoping to go Mid to low 9's with the six speed setup. But the Whole MAF situation needs to be work out. Does Hp tuners have a 3-Bar setup for 98's,
Does anyone know for sure,

Thanks for all the support and props guys, I have had this thing down for two years trying to do a cool setup,, After getting screwed by Force Fed High Performance, wasnt sure anything was going to come of this car, still some issues to work out as you can see, but hopefully should have it tuned and running soon.

Thanks again for your support
Brian
