I'm pretty sure a 'real' 11.50 street car can pass tech pretty easy

They are also having a 1000.00 to win LSx dyno shootout I believe as well.

How it works is if your faster than 10.0 you need to be THE fastest to win the overall(king of the street).

But if your average is closest to 10.0 you win the 10 second class same goes with 11 , 12 and 13 .

Too bad they have so many rules that put my car out, stupid stuff like exhaust pipes can't cross through body panels and must have head liner. I drive the car on the street quite a bit, and it is a street car to me. They also limit to single power adder, which I could live with but the dumb headliner / side exit exhaust thing kills me.

come on, it isn't exactly rocket science to put a headliner back in a car. Neither is extending an exhaust pipe.

Guys, it all boils down to this. If you do not support this event and show up to RACE, there might not be future events at all. Then you can sit around and complain that nobody has cool LSX racing events and all the Mustang guys can keep having all the fun. This is our ONE and only chance to show GM that we are serious and want a GM funded LSX racing series.

So please don't complain, just get your cars ready and show up. We can bench race about the event and laugh about all the good times afterwards.

POWER ADDERS & POWERTRAIN:

All 4-cylinder, 6-cylinder, small block and big block engine types and multiple power adders are permitted. Any manual or automatic transmission is permitted. Any rear end is permitted. Exhaust system with mufflers are required.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

NO limit on power adders and you need mufflers.
I think you might have read the wrong rules for real street.
Here ya go .. read these.....

I've got a laundry list to do, but I'm planning on running in the 11.50 index class...figure I won't be legal to run the nitrous (faster than 10.99) since the car doesn't have a cage...
