I would make sure they will let an LSx powered mustang run. In the general rules they say LS powered GM vehicles for all the regular LSX classes, not sure how they will do the true street.

This should be a cool event!

Badmonkey is bringing his Magnacharged SS, and we'll be there with a couple more cars. Probably something for the 11.0 and 10.0 classes.
Definately gonna try to catch the Chicago gang and caravan down to Memphis.......Wonder if PSJ has a CB radio so we can tell trucker jokes on the way?

I need to to know the answer to the same thing. I have a single turbo LSx fox body that we are taking to drag week and possibly this race.

Now if that applies to the true street race I dont know, I would PM Robin L and ask since he is the closest to GM here.

Robin told me that non-GM bodies were not allowed.

Ed a bunch of us did the CB radio thing a few years ago for the GMHTP Bristol race in 2000, it was pretty funny. I'll just pretend to be you and try to get the truckers to run you off the road... "Hey you dummy I'm in the white Camaro with IN plates, I dare you to try to run me into the ditch!"

the way the rules for the index classes read is its up to you to make sure you meet the safety standards...doesnt sound like they will necessarily be teching for those classes...just my opinion

I wouldnt count on that, the NMCA guys are very aware and very serious about safety.

Not decided what I'll bring. I was wanting to get the '67 Camaro done, but I'm not finding much spare time lately to work on it.
