New engine ?s
New engine ?s I just got my Low Cr 408 with patriot heads done and am trying to break it in before we throw it on the dyno. When I slow down and come to a stop it starts throwing a decent amount of smoke through the exhaust. When I start driving again most of it goes away. Is this just because the rings arent seated yet? All I was told was no boost while I am breaking it in. Anything else I should no? How many miles before I can put 14psi through it on the dyno for tuning? 
lol...done all that...think all the air is out of the coolant system until a few miles up the road. Everyone is different. I start creeping up the boost the first day if oil pressure is good.
Oil pressure is strong. Thank god. Why would the 408 need a catch can when just in vacum when my 346 never needed one, even in boost? Its not like I was pushing the motor or anything.
