Default Nitrous with Turbo

I am wondering if anyone has any valuable advice on weather nitrous would be a good idea with my rear turbo setup, so anything would help thanks

Its a great idea for spool up. The small cubic inch guys have been doing it for years. No reason LS1's can't do it as well.

of course.. nitrous' cooling factor alone will benefit.. plus a little extra exhasut volume can be your friend.. plus it multiplys torque exponentially..

strap a 50 shot on a boosted car.. the gian will make you open your eyes ALOT.. my cars neering completion.. and itll have 2 stages.. they are small.. but lets say you have meth but go to the track and choose to run c16 with higher boost so meths off.. a 50 shot will prob put almost 100hp to the wheels
and a bottle will last a LONG time on a 50 shot..

Mainly for spooling big turbos. Who needs nitrous with the right boost.

ZEX just came out with a kit specially designed for turbo motors.
Blktramsam is right, what you will get from a 50 shot is more than 100hp from 2500 to 4500 RPM, exactly what is lacking in most turbo setups.
The zex kit talks to TPS and a has a block that combines the fuel delivery w/ No2 - fairly slick...

I agree, it will really love a lil 50 shot. It will just smile at you. I talked to alot of guys about doing this with my other car that had bad lag and how much it would benifit it. I was never really into running at the track and never got around to it though

Lag is not an issue with a big cubed cars. I would think it would help out on the big end if you roll race.. The last thing a big cubed turbo car needs is more tq down low. It would be good to add more pull past 4800rpm...

so set it up with a window switch to come in and out when you want.. roll racing has no meaning to me as i think its the most retarded thing on the planet.. but ALOT of turbo cars could benefit from it out the gate..

oh yeah and NX is the only N2O kits i'll use.. i've tried alot.. done alot of flow testing.. and the NX nozzle atomizes the best and seems to have the best spray pattern

Yup, nothing like a little gas to help spool a turbo!!! You can put it on a hobbs switch if you like so that it will cut off at a preset boost level. N2O in conjunction with Alchy injection also works wonders. I hope this helps.

Ok sorry to bring up a old thread like this but I still dont have my kit completed so I can still drill and tap my APS intrercooler and not worry about shaveings.

I have two different nozzels I can use, a dry shot nozzel thats just that a single straight nozzel or I also have a DP type nozzel for fuel and nitrous. I only want to spray a small shot to help with the cooling. Which would be best? They both can screw in to the same hole so I can go back and forth no problem. but I only want to really do it once and do it right the first time.

Also what size jets should I use? Thanks
