Well I have been told alot more than once that I would gain nicely if I changed my cam in my 408 single turbo ta. I have just over 9 to 1 CR, afr heads, T80 gts turbo with 14psi etc etc. Its an auto and a daily driver so still want a cam thats streetable. I am currently running a comp 224,224, 581 581, 114 lobe sep.

The GT 11 is a better turbo spec cam than the GT 17, I guess you mean the GT17 not GT 14.

No they make a GT14 heres the specs
Lingenfelter GT14 LS1, LS6, LS2 Camshaft $386.95

Lingenfelter GT14 camshaft will produce excellent power and still have a streetable idle in six speed manual transmission equipped vehicles. Not recommended for automatic transmissions.

Suggested in 350-427 CID applications

Camshaft specifications: 228/232 duration @ .050 .590/.598 with 1.7 ratio rocker arms 113.0 CL.

Thge GT 11 is a much nicer spec cam for a turbo engine imo.

I can't see any cam listed at a GT14 on their web site, do you have a link to that GT 14 cam?

That link does not work for me, though here's the link to the LPE cam pages that I am browsing, no mention of any GT 14 cam that I can see.

I say get one like mine. My 224/236-114 works great. You can't go up much on the intake duration because the T80GTS won't support much rpm in that 408. Adding exhaust duration won't change the rpm range much, but it will make more power throughout the current range. You could also consider a 224/230-114.

Of course, this is a simplified explanation...

Mike

Yeah I know its not the LPE website but they sell there stuff. Thats weird LPE and 21century dont have the same cams for sell. But the GT11 cam doesnt need any flycutting on the pistons?

So is this a good turbo cam. Its already in my car. And when I mean good will it make good power and not bleed of boost.
