Questions about BOVs

Are knock off BOVs that bad? Looking at the tial 50mm knockoffs. I don't know whether I would risk a knockoff wastegate, but what about a BOV?

I have one of the OBX 50mm BOV's and it works great not one problem and it was way cheaper than the 300 dollar tial's

Yeah but TiAL there is no Guess work.... YOu know your getting a quality product... its such a cheap insurance piece... Its kinda like using nitrous and not getting a 9 dollar Fuel Pressure Saftey Switch.....

for a BOV a knock off is fine,at worst youll get compressor surge once and know it assuming its a stick and u lift to shift,which shouldnt do any major damage.if a wastegate sticks you will overboost the hell outta the car and risk blowing up alot.i think i like my knockoff Turbo XS RFL BOV better than the real one.but i have a real Tial WG.
