Gale Banks Turbos?

does anyone have one of there kits installed or know someone that who did have the kit?

They only make kits for the sbc, not the LS motors.

We did one last year that was quite unimpressive. It was a Donovan block 383 SBC with AFR heads and a Banks twin turbo setup and DFI. It made a whopping 650 hp at 14 psi. :yawn:

i was told that they make tt kit for any V8 gm.

How was it the turbo's fault? Are they too small?

We weren't able to get backpressure readings, but my suspicion is that it was high. The turbo's were some small RayJay units, about 57mm inducer. I don't have any other spec's on them. Also, no intercooler generally offered. A similar engine made 800 hp at the same boost level on the same dyno using a single T76GTS, which isn't exactly known for working well on 350+ cid.
