Piston Rings Boosted?
So with that said.
I was told best to go with as far as a ring setup would be a file to fit top ring and a gapless ring for the 2nd. I have no idea where to start on this and wanted feed back before I buy anything.

should i gap them to .000 ???
LMAO
All depends on the combo, how much boost you intend to run, dry sump, vacuum pump, etc.
talk to your machinist, he can recommend the app gap.
18psi Max on a T76 Qtrim and I am going to run a vac pump.
I wouldn't feel comfortable telling you what to gap your rings at.
Pro Series Rings
Speed-Pro Pro Series rings, designed for the professional racer, offer features that maximize horsepower, including:
Reduced widths and radial wall thicknesses in the top and second rings for lower tension and enhanced sealing
Plasma-moly facing on the top ring for instant seating and long life
Cast iron second rings, with tapering face profile and open-gap design for lower inter-ring pressure buildup and excellent oil control at even the highest RPMs
Pro Series rings include a very low-tension, thin-profile version of the SS-50 oil rings with a wire latch mechanism to simplify installation.
My question is who do you get them from for a ls series engine? Anyone recommend a good shop to purchase from?
To find the ring gap, someone should have a reference, or ask the ring or piston manufactor what they recommend. It's usually so many thousanths of an inch of gap per 1 inch of bore. So if you have a 3.905 more, and it called .005" for F/I motors, then you multiply .005" x 3.905 and get .0195" gap. But I would guess it should be around .025" for the top ring. But that's just a ball park number.

Ive got a TT 402 that I am wondering the same question for.
