Default Going Turbo :D

Well I just couldn't keep the 01 SS stock long enough. I've decided to go into forced induction since that's what our business is. I'm going to keep it very simple and will keep all the creature comforts. Here's the planned setup...

TC76MPS Turbo with 3" Downpipe
Tube Header Style Kit
FMIC
60lb Injectors
Walboro 340 Fuel Pump
Speed Density Tune
Yank SC 3000 Converter

All the pipes will be stainless and I'm going to have it all ceramic coated. I'm not going to rush myself, but would like to see 500rwhp out of the car. I'd like to stay on pump gas, but might put a meth kit on it. I am starting to purchase parts one at a time so I don't break the bank all at once. I'm gonna do pics all along the way with the parts on and off the car. I'll keep you all updated along the way.

I picked the stall size because I've been a big cube/big converter guy for a long time and I don't plan on racing the car that often. I just want the car to drive well, make good power, and be comfortable while retaining all the creature comforts.

I have that Yank SC 3000 in the shop cars TH400. Belive me it is nice to have a tight verter while cruising and it comes alive on the boost. Brian's car is gonna represnet the street car crowd. We havent decided weather or not to give the ebay hot parts a go or build our own. It is a toss up at this point but the car will be keeping all the creature comforts of a well optioned SS while making the power on 93 octane pump gas.

Good like with it Brian, I know the last setup was a little frustrating but you will have a ton of fun with the turbo.

LOL...kp I still have the other setup, it's just been sitting, waiting for a local shop to pull the motor out to get back to Allan. I may sell it when I get it back together, haven't made up my mind. I will say I originally wanted to go with a D1SC Procharger, but man when you have a fabricator that you work for, it just doesn't make sense not to do a turbo

I understand, either blower or turbo on even a stockish 346 will make you think twice about going NA again. No worries about the right heads/cams/intakes, 10-15 psi will make anything work almost. Then you will want more
