HCI vs. APS Twins
What would be the cheapest startup route for a completely bone stock auto F body? APS twin or a heads, cam, intake, from a reputable company such as Vengeance. I wouldn't plan on pushing more than 8 psi with the APS to make the bottom end live as long as possible. The car is daily driven with a goal of 475+ RWHP.

I've read a lot of guys who have this kit on their vette or GTO and if u putt around town u cannot even tell the kit is on there...till u mash the gas
I also have H/C/I w/ full exhaust and I cannot wait to put my APS kit and turbo cam in.
IMO go with the APS kit

It would depend on how lumpy of a cam you went with. I had a friend with H/C on his T/A and he liked the power, but didn't like the daily driveability of it. It was not very friendly for everyday usage.
Me, I like turbo's. Yeah they are more complex, but like stated above when not in use your car is like normal. And when they kick in they really scoot!! I am sticking with the stock APS set-up on my car as I too have the stock bottom end and plan to continue to DD the car. I am not looking to set any records with it. Just want more fun and to surprise a few people. So I am planning to keep it safe for the engine and rear. Street tires (until I get an upgraded rearend next year), and the base 7psi tune should make my set-up survive just fine.

thanks for all the responses I thought the APS would be more street friendly as well. I also think that the APS would be more than enough to run mid 10's with maybe a GT-2 cam, a decent set of heads, supporting fuel system and the right stall and suspension.
