Does anyone know if the Procharger F1A fits on the F Body with a Be Cool radiator, and a/c condensor in the way? Things are very tight done there with the P1SC as it is. I would like to know if I can gain some space down there by tilting the radiator forward. Enough space to make the F1A fit. Thanks.

Looks like you will have the same setup I will soon have too.

I had this thread bookmarked as a go-by once my F1 gets here.

If he can fit it in there with an F1R, we can definitely fit the F1/ F1A no problem IMO

Damn James, I didnt realize how much of a task its gonna be until I looked up under there.. We got some work ahead of us, but we do have a few things planned out, so it should work. Whats the outlet on the F1? 3", 4"?

How many people have overheating problems running a front mount intercooler as opposed to ATI's twin intercoolers? Or is it the ssame either way. I think we may have figured out what one of the causes for this issue is..

mine runs hot (230ish) with the A/C on and I have the twin intercoolers. I'll bet I know what you are thinking- that the FMIC people taking the plastic part out is hindering the airflow not forcing it thru the radiator after hitting the air dam and going up? While this probably does impede cooling a bit, I bet that the added air coming at it thru the front probably makes up for it. I can also assure you that it will get hot with the A/C on even with that plastic piece installed and twin intercoolers.

No, what we are thinking is that the passing air through the FMIC is creating a high pressure of warm air, which is not allowing normal air flow from below to come up into the radiator.

Ahh gotcha. But I think that is probably not the case either, because even though the air will heat up a bit when going thru the intercooler, it is still going to be way cooler than the radiator temps.

That car ran hot from the minute I picked it up from the jackasses at some high profile 3 letter shop in Houston. That was with the twin intercoolers and nothing else.

Hmmm, then I'm willing to guess that radiator shroud has alot to do with it. I'm surprised ATI hasn't had a fix for it yet

Does the shop's name start with 'L' and end with 'E'?

No, wait. That's too obvious...

Is the shop's middle initial 'M'?
