For the Z06 that is. Going to put in on a forged 346 and see how far it goes.

I am thinking of at least 650-700 on a high boost tune. We'll see though

Damb nice vette man, the yellow Z06 has always been my dream car. I opted for a WS6 which I have always liked to plus gave me the room for more money to put into it. If I bought the vette it would have probably stopped there bc of the initail price. Good luck on the build, can't wait to see your awesome results!

Forged 347's with good parts can make over 800 to the wheels. With the off idle torque I will have then why spend the money?

I will take pics once it comes in and I think I am going to get Cartek to assemble the motor as I have all the parts and they will be close.

it shouldnt cost anymore money to put forged internals to a 383 than it would on a 347

But why? If everything is already paid for in my case and even 700 h.p. is way too much power for anything other than a race from a roll then I have to ask. If you can convince me, I'll do it for you...

There is at least the price of the crank, between 383 and 347, which is circa $1000

For a forged 346...that removes the price of working the block too...save $xxx ??

And for a forged 346...you dont even need to remove the block from the car ( Which on a Vette is a massive job ?? )

Saves more $$$
