You wont!!

I think the consensus is the LS1 block is good to around 900rwhp..

The internals, anything overr 500 its not IF.. Its WHEN..

I think you could run 500-550's and then once that pops.. WHICH IT WILL!!

I imagine youll melt a piston or pop a ring first... Somepeople toss a rod out of the block... Its all different on every motor....

You can build a motor that will hold as much boost as you can throw at it.. It just depends on what kinda cash you have to drop!

I dont see why with a BUILT 346/7 you couldnt make 800+ rwhp with no problem....

mike brown ran his CE into the nines with a stock bottom end using an incon kit.
he had fuelling and a good tune with good gas.

pistons and bearings are normally the week link.
harlan ran his ls1 or ls6 block with good internalls and a stock crank to an 8.20 i think

how much boost is all relative to the type of heads exhast intake and other componets you have.

most people can get there stock engines to about 550rwhp somewhat reliable
and built bottom ends 700-900 rwhp before the heads start pressing coolant

...if you spend the money to ensure that (lots of) fuel, spark, and tune are all in line...

And once you're at 800 rwhp, the rest of the driveline is necessary.

Part of the equation is the age of the stock motor in question, if you're just looking to go 450-500 rwhp on a stock bottom.
