Default What kind of TB???

Which type of TB is best for a street driven FI car? The intake is a Victor Jr., so if I used a mono blade, it would have a 90* elbow on it. Im looking for the best streetablity. The power really shouldnt be a problem

Thanks - Ron

I voted for the LS2 intake/ FAST style 90mm but only because that's what I've got. I think most people would say the LS6 type 78mm version. Truth be told, I'm thinking of switching to that type.

Sorry I edited after you posted. The intake I have is a Victor Jr. I know people are gonna say the composit type intake (Fast, LS6, etc...) would have been a better choice as far as streetability, but I like the look of the Victor Jr under the hood of my Chevelle. Plus I will get a even amount of air/fuel to each cylinder.

Just be weary of cheap TBs that could be leaky...

If the stock TB becomes a restriction...then fit a bigger one.....

I dont think it will though, as stock size is pretty much same size as typical IC plumbing anyway. Not really any point going bigger...although I went for 85mm myself.

No real justification for doing so...I just wanted one.
