if you are you should be able to use on that mounts on the passenger side head with the tensioner there too with a short belt. unless you have the stock water pump, then you might be able if you rig up the tensioner on the driverside.

though if you dont have any accessories i probably would have ran the DP where the AC used to go, thats where i have my 4" downpipe pass through.
Yeah, I have an EWP. I'm currently running a little short belt from the crank to the alt. I was out in the garage yesterday taking some measurements and I think I can relocate my Alt where the A/C compressor used to be. It looks like it might be easy with a bit of fab work....hopefully. This will put the alt completely out of the way and still keep it off the head.

I am actually thinking about getting the mufflex and putting a bullet and a muffler in it, 4" all the way back. Or, a 4" cutout and drop it down to a 3.5".

bmr has a race only alternator bracket that make it so you run only the alternator or something like that, i think you get rid of the cast piece and use theirs, it "might" move it close to the block, you might have to look at their pictures to find out for sure, but that could be an option for you to, or you might be able to move it on the other side like you talked about.

yes it does, the truck bracket holds the PS and alternator on the driver side with the alt up top there, it wont fit with an ls1,2,6 or x manifold, but might work with a single plane. also might get it to fit by cutting some aluminum off of it, i started to try that once to see, but never finished cutting the truck alt bracket to see.
you would need the truck PS unit as its different, also im not sure it might interfere with OFI's header, im pretty sure it interferes with the truck manifolds - the power steering part.

Yeah, I'm running the BMR bracket now, doesn't really move the Alt closer though. I'm looking at the area that the 4" DP pipe is supposed to go, and I don't see how it would fit with the alt and the PS rack. I tried to see if a piece of 4" exhaust pipe I had would fit in there and no dice. You must have to modify the lines going into the rack and pinion. Glad I'm going with the madman rack, should open it up a bit, who knows...
