Question Idler Pulley for D1SC and Service

The idler pulley on my car looks horrible. Needs replaced. I was wondering if there is any out there that will not ware like the coated aluminum one? Also need advice on servicing the supercharger? I have the oil but not sure which bolt to take out and drain and which one to refill. This is the first supercharged car I had that didn't have the oil lines tapped in the pan.
Any advice on both will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Criss

On the very top of the head unit is a threaded screw with a washer under it. This is the fill plug/dip stick. On the opposite side of the head unit is the drain plug. The P and D series of blowers take 6 oz of ProCharger oil. I sell the ProCharger oil which comes with a new washer tapped to the top of the box. Bob

Thanks for the info on changing the oil. What about the pulley? I think the bearing is shot in it also. It looks a lot like the post on here where the Procharger is blown up.

Thanks,
Criss

The easiest thing to do is to order a new ATI ProCharger idler pulley. If you do a search on here you will find where people have found other sources for pulleys that will work in place of the ProCharger pulley. Bob

619hawk, I believe that part number is wrong. I bought those bearings with that part number and it did fit the pulley, but the metal shaft did not fit the hole in the bearing itself. I'll look to see what the number is for the bearing I bought.

Well don't know what to say, maybe something has changed. I know my pulley-bearing set up is a about 2-3 years old. So maybe there has been some changes sense then.

Google the Dayco HD Tensioner Catalog, and look at the last 2 pages for pix and dimensions. These things are steel and will give a great service life. I use 2 of the smooth ones and one of the ribbed ones and they look brand new after 7K miles. Dual HD bearing too. Very clean designs. About $40 at any Dayco dealer.

Thanks. Looks like Procharger wants about $70 for a new one.

DeltaT- is that an online catalog? If so, I could not find it. I did find the Dayco site and downloaded the catalog on that site, but in order to look up a part, you need to know what vehicle it is OEM on. Doesn't really help much looking it up that way... Can you PM me a direct link, I guess my search skillz are not too good today

*edit* ok i think i found it...
