twin gt42 76mm
I know one is good for the 1100hp mark, but if you were running a 383ci 9:1 motor and looking to put out about the 1200 to 1500hp, and you already have one gt4276, it would be cheaper than buying a single turbo that will produce that kind of hp. I'm already going to redo the hot pipes when I get a new turbo anyway. What do you thing would be the problems?

you should beable to make ALOT more than that if you could keep the heads on the block! i know nelson racing use T72s and they make over 1500bhp (crank) on a 427 SBC. also i think the larger GT42 are known as GT4202's. these are the 1100bhp units.
Chris.
Twins, without question.
we've got a car at the shop with a pair of the 70mm GT42's on a 38X LS motor, been 140 MPH in the 1/8 on a 28" radial. Less than stellar passes, not like it really matters

This is with twin GT42/74Rs on ~390ci.
There was more left in the combination.
One may not be enough for what I want, but two will be more than I need or can handle. the motor that I'm going to build will probably only handle 1200 fwhp, but I would have plenty of turbo left.
