I have a 1.08 with my 88mm, and my car doesn't turn on until like 5000. If you already have that turbo, get a much smaller exhaust housing, so that you can make some sort of usable power.

How high do you twist your engine John?? Also, are you going to go with a smaller A/R exhaust housing or are you satisfied with that one??

I've gone 7000, and I'm going to turn it higher next time to compare... so 7000, 7300, 7500, and maybe 7700 but I'm a little skeered of 7700. None of the 155-170mph turbo guys on here turn their motors less than 7400 rpms that I can tell.

you just told a guy that 20psi on his setup is ok with pump gas. Not only can I read, I can speak from mouth instead of my other end

You might pull through 1 gear at 20psi, but try putting together a whole pass or two (pulling through all of your gears) and see what happens on your own **** before you tell someone else to do it.

Ok the exhust housing that I have is located on the left of the pic.

Which is called a on center. The one I think you have is the one on the center of the pic.

If you dont have any of the hot piping done then housings should not be a issue. My personal views is this one would be better as it gets rid of the Vband style which you have.

Even on an 8.5:1 Forged motor straight pump gas is going to go BOOM at 20psi. No one is saying the engine couldnt handle it, just not on pump gas. Maybe you didnt mean pump gas but id hate to see someone try 20psi on 93 octane and ruin a nice forged engine, thats all.

20psi, stock motor, pump gas, that would be risky.

We see a fare share of broken piston/engine pics from guys who really pushed the limit on pump gas LSX here. These same guys seem to not want to run 93 pump again with the boost up. Do it to YOUR own engine but it seems nukin futs to me.
