Default Hit 140 MPH today, TTi Race kit

Well, I just finished the TH400 swap and made it out to the track today.

Had alot of fun and found out that my custom torque converter is WAY OFF. My car has a small cam and my power band is done at 6500rpm, anyway at 10psi it pretty much just blows right through the converter. On the brake if goes to 5700rpm!

The converter goes back tomorrow!

Anyway I got to make 7 blasts down the track. Three were time trials and 4 were bracket racing. So there was a few runs where Iwas allover the brakes to not break out. Then there is the fact that I can't (I mean not supposed too) go faster than 10.000 untill I get the cage installed...

Best MPH of the day was a 140.27! I spun pretty hard on that pass to a 1.646 60'.

That run breaks down like this:

60' 1.646
330' 4.329
1/8th 6.533 @ 111.64
1000' 8.435
1/4 10.040 @ 140.27

The Last pass of the day was fun too:

60' 1.494
330' 4.177
1/8th 6.405 @ 110.18mph
1000' 8.333
1/4 9.989 @ 128.15 (dove the brakes as my opponent trapped 75 mph! Over 50mph closure!)

This is going to be absolutly insane when the converter is right for the application!

Yeah, you can really tell in the video that its blowing through the converter pretty bad. Good deal on the times and MPH though!!

Nice runs. Looks like your track has all the **** box racers like mine does. Your combo should be awesome once it's all sorted out.

Nice This is your 1st 9 second run? Congrats. Now you have to change you pictures signature, post in the 9 second section... What a pain Get that 10 point in there and get the times you deserve.

That was hilarious that other car in the second pass ran almost double your time. It sounded pretty crazy building boost off the line. Was that foot braking or a trans brake?

Great times Ryan. Looks like you can even loosen the front shocks to bring that front end down a little faster. Your car looks like a 4x4 up to the 330 mark, LOL.

Nice !!!!

If it's that loose then you will likely pick up a few MPH from having it tightened up as well.
