How to attach 4" pipe to D1SC inlet?

Part number for that filter?

and you can still use the same inlet hat setup and just fit that larger filter in that space?

If you get the RE-0920 you don't need an adapter and its the same size (9"). Thats what I have and it fits in the space above the intercooler. It is very tight, but works great. I picked up about 2psi from just that filter alone.

I had to fab up my own coupler for the filter. I now realize a similar filter is available with the same outlet as the original filter. It worked out for the best tho cuz I used the original coupler in place of my MAF sensor. Yes I reused the accordion type hose but trimmed it some. Far as I know the intercoolers all mount in about the same spot. The mounting tabs are only so long. These pics could be a bit deceiving tho... it was kinda hard to get the pics not a lot of room under the car.

You are right about being in the same spot. I was undermine today fixing a leak and took a look. Thanks for taking the time and showing me some pics. I have a larger filter but I dont have my acordian hose anymore. Anyone know what is a good replacement for it?
