Default Need some advice so I can make a decision

After much thought, I've decided I want to join the FI crowd. I just can't decide which way I want to go. I pretty much have it narrowed down to either a D1SC or a Magnacharger or a Kenne Bell. I think the Kenne Bell might be out of the question because, from what I understand, they don't make a kit that will work with F-body accessories (I suppose I could switch over to Corvette accessories if I needed to). I like the Procharger set up, but I would need to change a few things on my current engine set up for it work to its full potential. On the other hand, I could just bolt up a Magnacharger or Kenne Bell (if it'll work) to my current set up and not have to change a thing for it to work great. The last thing I'm looking for is the ability to upgrade if I want more power. It seems like the Procharger would offer more opportunity to make big power in the future whereas the Magnacharger may not keep up if I got really serious with it.

Here is my current set up:
Stock bottom end 346 w/ARP rod bolts
PRC stg 1 LS6 heads (not milled)
MS3 cam (237/242 .603/.609)
1 3/4 LTs
LS6 intake
6 speed

All thoughts and responses are appreciated. This is in a thirdgen Camaro so I have plenty of room for either option.

go with the procharger.save a lot of heat from sitting on top on the motor as in the kenne bell and magnacharger.i dont see anything on your current setup that u would have to change except maybe for the cam.if u are looking for a procharger the only person to deal with (in my opinion and many others here) is Bob@Exoticperformanceplus.com

A D1SC should be all that you need unless you're planning on running more than 14psi...

You guys don't think I should swap the heads to lower the compression a little or switch to a more blower friendly cam? I guess I just thought the MS3 would bleed off a lot of boost.

Also, does anyone know if the Corvette Procharger kit will work with the F-body accessories? I'm going to have to mount it up top because it will interfere with my pitman arm if I mount it down low. I can always mount it like they do on the GTO, but if I had my choice I'd like to have it in the same spot as the Corvette does.

not sure about the cam but compression, if stock, should be good for 8#'s of boost

might want to give us some details on your set up.

the corvette kit uses one belt total
fbody uses three belts total (main, a/c and you add a pulley for the blower)

prochargers are intercooled 8#'s is fine. i run 9#'S and compression is 11.4:1. pump gas here is 91 octane. call EPP/Exotic performance PLus, they are a sponsor. i got my kit from them and they gave me a base tune and i have no issues at all. check my sig i just switched to E-85 to run more boost, when my new forged short block arrives i will be putting 15#'s in with the same set up 11.4:1 i would push more but the blower want turn much faster, i'll need a F1

I'm currently using the f-body accessories but without the A/C compressor. So I just have the main belt. I just looked at it, mounting it down low like the f-body kit is NOT and option. It looks like it will fit where the GTO kit places the blower. It would work better if the inlet could face the front of the car instead of the rear. Can the blower be turned around? I'm not too familiar with what the bracket looks like so I'm not sure if its possible.

I'll contact EPP and see what kind of help they can offer. I'll probably just leave the heads and cam alone for now. I just want to make sure it will fit.

you just loosen some of bolts on body and it will allow you to rotate it to any orientation you choose. just make double sure you retighten the bolts
