Max Power of Stock 346 TTi
what are some max safe power levels with a 346 LS6 Stage X TTI Turbo- New Head with 9.5cr, light cam, upgraded spring and kit and safe rich tune 10-10.5 A/F...
What could be max levels on an LS7 Clutch might hold for a while- no hard launches, no slipping or hard 1/4 runs, with light launches 2K max.
Thanks

Keep in mind that with the larger CC heads my compression was around 9.7:1 as opposed to a stock Z06 of 10.5:1.

This sound intresting- I have a LS6 Stage 2 head with larger CC Also and running 9.75CR.
I'm running base boost 7-7.5 and make this power with no Cats, full exhaut and a mild cam. We looking to increase a pound or two in order to make 650rwhp as a max. The car has a rich tune and max timing at 26 degress for now.
My cam is very similar except for the LSA- 210/218 .551/.551 LSA 112.... Lot's of low and mid range TQ.
Any thoughts

26 degrees of timing is wayyy to much.
I would cut that back significantly to be safe.
I have done several of these setups and am a dealer for TTi if you have any questions. You are also welcome to sign up over on their forum if you have questions about the kit, etc.
I am BLOWNZO6 over there and on the Corvette Forum.
EDIT.. also why run such a rich AFR? Set the AFR up properly and cut the timing back. I would start with 15-17 degrees.
I would also recommend an alky kit, 650 is probably stretching it on a stock bottom end though.

My mistake with 26 degrees of timing- that was the old high cr tune. it more like 17 degrees but don't have the number at hand- Speed Inc has done all the work. The seem to tune conservatively...
I'm looking for the block to last 2 year or about 8-10K miles before a full forged engine...
I'm running 93 octane with one can of Torco per tank-every time!

That'll definitely help, but 650 rwhp via TT's is going to stress the stocker motor. The motor will hold, but the question is for how long. If your goal is 650 rwhp or more I'd recommend starting with a forged lower end. It'll save you a great deal of labor, frustration, and downtime.
