Well think strictly race, I don't care how it idles. This is on a 427 race motor. We are pegging the boost gauge at 30psi but not making the power we want with a 238/248 115 +0 Comp cam. I think this cam has about 13 deg of overlap in it.

LSInnovations, what cam are you running? pm me some details please

Is this a turbo or supercharged motor? My setup with a maxed out pulley I am only seeing about 16psi of boost. I have read a few engine builder make over 1200HP still using a hydraulic roller cam.

I thought LS1innovations was kidding.

When I had my 236/246 blower cam I was told that the NMRA guys run more cam than that. Comp suggested a 240/244 for me, so maybe folks would suggest 24x/25x stuff.

Do you by chance know what kind of overlap you had with that cam?
