I'm talking with a friend and keep going back and forth about it being to big and loosing pressure drop bla bla bla. I've been looking at everyone's set up and that seem's to be the standered size for the air to air IC's
am i right to go with that size are am i over IC'ing and running a risk of having a large pressure drop with only 8 psi.
thanks

A larger A2A intercooler amounts to a very small air volume increase but a much larger heat removal (surface area) increase, so it's generally worth it. Could you go crazy by offering too much IC to do any good? Yes, but the numbers show little return.
Here's the kicker. Tell me that when you taste 8psi, you won't want to taste 12? Another good reason why any reasonable FMIC is OK, especially on the large side.
Lastly, the price point is not much greater, once you get to a decent size. If you can get an extra 30% in volume for +10% of a price increase, you're way ahead of the game.
