I had a good time, ran Pinkenstein in the 11.0 index and was going 11.0's and 11.1's depending on whether I hooked.

Car count including T/S was pretty good, probably somewhere between 105 and 120 cars, I will ask.

John what happened to the Formula in the DR class? I thought you planned on running both? and your (I believe) 3rd round in Index - it didn't show a time for you?

The turbo had to be sent back for repair, the impeller had made contact with the housing. The turbo has moved around a bit, and it's my understanding that stainless parts can move around and I need to better brace the turbo.

I left even though I was in, some of my buddies had to leave. They didn't finish up until like 9pm.

Is that the thought of why it failed?

No, the key reason is believed that the turbo needs to be more supported, but stainless can move around per a few folks. I first need to go over my turbo support.

what does supporting the turbo have to do with the impeller hitting a housing?

i have a nice and strong (but ugly) setup holding up my 45# turbo. 2 pieces of angle iron and a turnbuckle type thingie

I was happy with the turnout for the most part... If they do it again next year, yea I'll go... but the index **** was kinda lame, IMO... I left after first round, even tho i won...

I hung out in downtown Memphis with the gurl... And that is one bad *** city... Had a good time... Next year Will have something faster...
