Close but no cigar at Memphis

Close but no cigar at Memphis Made nine passes at the LSX thing this weekend, still cant get that damn 8.99 lol, got a 9.010 though..
Main thing was the car was very consistent except the last pass when I screwed up and shifted from first right to third. Still ran a 9.21 though, didnt really matter anyhow even if I won that round since I had to get home.
But I'm happy to make eight passes in a row within a tenth with zero issues except for moving a little water from the overflow back to the radiator every couple passes.
Here is a vid of a few of the passes, didnt get the 9.010 on tape but here is a pic of the timeslips. Wish I could have made the Thursday night T&T in Memphis, heard the weather was awesome but thats how it goes. Going to give it one more try with the 347 when the weather cools off some more and then it goes into retirement

Same thing I have now but with an LS2 block, not looking to step it up that much really, just freshening everything up and changing a few things around. Should pick up a little but I'm happy where the car is at right now.

awesome times KP...and damn its consistant which says a lot about the motor ...your setup and your tuning. What tires were you on? I assume slicks. Wife did a great job with the camera again.....she oughta teach classes for a little side money at the track. I know one persons wife who needs lessons....

I was going to take off the door panels, glove compartment, visors and console but laziness got the better of me
I was on 10.25x28S Drags, next attempt is at Jackson, Reynolds or Bowling Green if it ever cools off around here..
