Blowing off and still surging - BOV too small?

Blowing off and still surging - BOV too small? The new BOV that I installed seems to be very responsive, but even when it blows off the turbo still surges. Does that mean it's not big enough? Would running two BOV's solve the problem?

I spoke with the place that I bought the BOV from and they want me to try removing one of the springs. I'll report back after I try that.

It's something like 30-35mm. The shop told me that because it opens faster than a standard BOV it makes up for the size difference, but I dunno if that's true. I'm wondering if it's just too small. I swapped to this from a TiAL 50mm to eliminate part throttle surge. The TiAL worked great at high RPM and high boost but not very well at part throttle low RPM. This Synapse BOV seems to be the opposite.
The second video I posted above actually sounds about like I would expect a good working BOV to. The others two are not so much.

Just spoke with Synapse and they are going to send me a replacement, they think something might be wrong with the one I got. I'll update again once I receive it.

I had the 9psi spring in the TiAL. Going back is not an option, I already sold it. If one Synapse doesn't cut it, I'll just add a second one.

It actuates VERY quickly under part throttle low boost. All of my low boost surging is gone completely. I'm hoping the one I got is defective, because I love how fast this one releases.
