either way cast cranks are being pushed to crazy limits. Guy at turbomustangs had his at 700rwhp... never gave up and never missed a beat. Ran 9.7x i think That was also a junkyard motor with 150,000 miles on it too...

So i think you are making it sound like anything that is cast is junk and forged all the way. He could make 500-600 rwhp reliably with good pistons, rods, hardware on what he has... easy.

You could do it on a two bolt, but if you got it out and are changing things dish out for the splayed mains. I think they are more important to get than the crank.

Tuning options for the LT1 with F/i is a joke though.

If that was a black foxbody GT, a friend of mine used to own it. VERY impressive for a stock block 5.0 motor!
