Is it ok to run the ATI race bypass valve?

Can you run the ATI race bypass valve or the vortech mondo bypass valve on a d1sc thats only using 5-7lbs? Im sure the stock bypass included in the kit is more then enough but, the stock one recirulates and these two dump to the atmosphere. Is it also ok the dump to the atmosphere or does that make the maf go all crazy?

If its set up right, the MAF will never know.... you should be "dumping" before the MAF ever senses it.

anyone have a sound clip of those two bypasses? I had the stock one that just recirculates. I didn't like it. Never heard the other ones though. post em up

I use the Mondo vented to the entire world. The Mondo is louder than the supercharger.

I have the ATI and its loud as hell. quite a few of the Turbo guys use it too.
On the 1st pass you can hear me let out when i start to spin and thats the bypass... its loud as hell.

Maf? what maf? SD-tune F T W!

Im in the same boat too. I have the old supplied ati valve. Race version is $400 but ProFlo is $140. I need something that can be adjusted to make boost in lower rpms.
