i am interested in seeing how it does as raced then on the dyno. i have to figure with the auto its not quite over 1krw, maybe 950. i can't see how it would gain rwhp from switching to auto. the last time this set up was dynoed was when it was in the formula and did 995 and actually i think the tune is only more conservative now. but you never know.
i was plugging the weight/et calculators and it says you'd be close 1125rwhp and could run an 8.80
i wonder though if the 17's would affect MPH more and dropping et?

still thats hauling for a street car with 17's

calculators are only ballpark figures....i bet the 17 hurt et some (60') and having to turn them the whole way down the track but not a huge amount....that car is insanely impressive, i wanna put something very similar to it in a 3100 pound car

having the 17 will only hurt the 60 foot, its only 25.6 inches high so it won't hurt it down the track, especially after the 1/8..

so MM, all really that changed was the converter from a 3000 to a 3400? Did you raise the 2 step way up and just go for it? Front sway disconnected? Running a trans brake?

My best on a 17 was a 1.60, I'm sure I would have gotten into the 1.5's but no where near a 1.4 or 1.3.

Guess the track was hooking, good job.

You also have to take into account the comparable weight to 15 slicks and skinnies. That's quite a bit of weight.

yes i was using the trans brake
no i do not use a 2 step on the car
no i do not have a front swaybar, but i do have the front qa1's set up tight to make up for it and did not adjust them, they are on 10 or 11 i think
yes it was the best track prep i have been to all year, considering i normally run at friday street events.

that is true.

trans brake makes alll the difference in the world.

you should try throwing a set of slicks n skinnies and try to get that 8 sec pass.

slicks and skinnies sounds like a race car thing to me.
my best non t brake launch is a 1.57 so i would say the brake gave me over .2 on ET on that particular pass and woulda been more on the 1.38 pass.

you said it so it is true to me.

i have a 3.5" electric cutout that was open. the wastegate is the loudest part of the car since it dumps out. my best pass through the stainless works cat back is a 9.72 but not on as good of a 60' or as high of boost as these runs

150mph is my a/c and it was blowing good!

I notice you don't have a 'chute on that missle. Any problems haulin' that thing down before the turn around? I bet those rotors are glowing red!
Congrats on the latest ET/MPH. I wish you had a video of the pass. I saw that earlier video where the '88 seemingly found boost about 80 feet out then you just murdered the car in the next lane.
