Default BW S388 turbo?

Has anyone tested a S388 turbo on a LSX engine?
It has small outside dimensions and can probable support 1300hp, what do you think?

Regards,
Chokes like a rock on the exhaust side. Reason why we don't build that unit after testing it.

One other thing, that name is a Bullseye turbo, and that means that is not one of our units. So if somebody is running it, it did not come from us. All the 388 equivalents we built were never sold to the public.

It´s from bullseyepower.
83/87 turbine with 1.25 A/R.

So you think it´s to small for a 6.0 lit and 7000 rpm and ~ 1200hp.

Yeah, to small......turbo will come apart quickly with that load and that turbine wheel will choke.

Regards,
What size engine?? If its a 360ci or above, the real S88 would be the ticket. Its made 1100rwhp on LSX engine through an auto tranny, so its plenty capable.

On E85 you will need the larger turbine side for sure. The full S88 would be the ticket. It would spool awesome and make HUGE power on E85.

Yes the S91 is very close in size to a GT42-76 T6.

I don't think you can even get a S388 from Bullseye. S380 would be the biggest. The S374 made 850whp on a 4 banger.

I agree the S88 will make slot of power. I'm prob the one Dr Turbo was talking about. 1132rwhp thru a power glide trans. S60 rearend and a S88 with a 370ci motor.
I can't wait for some results on the new turbo's
