Procharger SES light?

Procharger SES light?

Hey guys, I'm considering getting a D1SC procharger kit between now and summer or so. I've searched about this, but I was wondering if this kit will give you an SES light when tuned properly. I need to have the SES light off for emissions. There's no visual or sniffer test in Maryland.

I'm coming from an RX-8 where any sort of FI will cause a constant SES light, even when tuned properly.

no lights if properly tuned. Plus you can tune out all the SES lights with tuning software to go throught emissions

Good to know, that makes going with a Procharger an easy decision. Guess I'll be calling Bob when I work out the money for it.

I'm in College Park. Thanks for the answer.

Anyone else want to chime in with their experiences with this?

Glad to help. I live in southern PA if you interested in checking out my Procharger setup you are more than welcome. Are you doing all your own work or are you getting a shop to. If you are using a local shop what place I would like to share some experiences of friends at MD speed shops. That I would rather not spread all over the place.

I haven't decided whether I'm installing it with my friends or having a shop take care of it. I have several friends who should be capable of doing it. They have installed their own superchargers/turbos/nitrous/etc. Of course I'd be doing the install with them.

However, there's a chance I'd have a certain non-sponsor shop do it since I may install a built tranny with a stall at the same time. They did good work on my headers and tune, and I get a big discount on tuning if I'm a returning customer.

I'd love to check out your D1SC setup in the next few weeks if you don't mind.
