I wish I had the weather you guys are having, you should take advantage.

Thanks guys, hoping to get a little karma thing going and that will be enough for a half a tenth

Na, its the same as I ran it in Memphis, havent touched a thing except the tune. I'm just counting on the cooler temps to get it there, if it doesnt I'm far from disappointed in the car thats for sure. I'm not that desperate to start taking door panels and stuff off

Lot depends how the track is too, I would have got it last time I was there but I couldnt hook worth a crap. BG is pretty hit or miss but I have a newer set of tires on the car so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

With fresh tires, you should be there, but if you're on the last run of the night and you're going for broke, do your laptop magic and max out the tune. You'll either push water or hit the 8s. Since the motor is coming out anyway, why not?

Of course, I think you'll hit the 8s just with the tires alone. Best of luck!

I could probably pull the door panels, rear panels (the easy ones), chute, pcv catch can, glove compartment, console, that panel under the dash where the hatch release is and the steel bracket, sun visors and outside mirrors and probably get 75lbs off of it. Just not going to do it though, same with leaving the power steering and brakes, just more stubborn then wanting the 8.99 I guess

Be way easier to let someone 100lbs lighter than I am drive it lol.

We'll see Patrick, there really isnt whole lot more in the tune, got to remember I'm still runing a3" Y-pipe into a singe 4" muffler and that may be starting to hurt me a little. I didnt excatly build that exhaust for an 8 second car
