Well it did it, unfortunately there were a couple wall hits and oil downs today and looong cleanups so I only made 2 passes. Got sick of waiting int he staging lanes and packed it in a little early but it did what I wanted so I was happy. Weather was very good, 55* or so, DA was +500' or so which is about the best it gets around here.
The first pass was a not hooking too well 8.98 @ 151.7 with a 1.310 60 foot, 2nd pass was a 8.92 @ 151.83 with a 1.284 60 foot. Also got my first 5.6x in the 1/8, 5.69 @ 122.11. I may have been able to step it up some, 2 step was at 2800 but the track was a little iffy so I didnt want to push it. Its starting to move about a pint of water a pass now, but thats not bad considering I have had the same gaskets on it since February.
Bob, I have a 4.0 (7.25 crank) pulley on it right now Bob, so thats 72K at 7350 rev limiter (its around 7250 through the traps) so I have a bit more left. I just wanted to get it to run in the 8s without changing anything from Memphis, mostly beacause all I did was wash the car and it just sat
When I swap gears, 3.70 in it now, I can use the 3.7 pulley I have. I'd like to keep it around 7K through the traps. Highest boost I seen today was 19psi.
I have vids, I'll get them up in a few. Thanks for the support guys, since I dont get paid to do this it makes it worthwhile. Brian Hogan took a few nice pics also, good to see you man, plus there was a couple other guys form the site there - good to meet you all.

heres the video but except for the numbers of the scoreboard it doesnt look all that different then the others I've posted
I could come up with a long list of 'thanks to' but there is just too many. Mainly Bob at EPP, Kurt at W2W, Mark at procharger, John Meany who tunes my car every pass via the most excellent BS3, SDCE for a kickass drive setup (1.5 year old belt on it), Jeremy (forcefed98) for building the IC pipes and IC mount which are still working after three years and many others.
But I have to thank my wife the most for putting up with this crap, if it wasnt for her I would have sold this thing off 6 months ago. I dont know if she just likes the car or didnt want to me start over and spend the money again lol.

I dont know about that, it does make me a little proud that except for the short block I did everything on the car by myself in my garage. I built the trans, set up the ring an pinion, wired it, did the cage, tune it, brakes, suspension even align it right here at home. I even mount and balance my own tires
People say I never smile but I'll admit I did grin a little when I liiked at the slip.
