Default Oil in downpipe/intake

Okay guys, got the EGR blocked, and got the new Katech tensioner installed today and noticed I have oil coming out of the downpipe as well as in the charge pipe (checked the TB). The car has been sitting, and there is oil dripping from where the exhaust and turbo flange meet. All 4 bolts are tight, but it makes a nice puddle of oil in a weeks time of sitting in place. I have a .050" restrictor on the inlet (function 7 piece) -4an and a -10an to the mocal. I'm not sure if the seals in the ol T70 are shot, or what is wrong. I'm hoping you guys can make some suggestions. Thanks in advance guys.

Tony

I was gonna suggest a restricter, but you have one. Do you have a check valve on the feed line? I'm thinking seals since you are getting oil on the hot and cold side.

Damn, this doesn't look good. On both sides, it's possible the turbo is having trouble holding oil.

if the car has been sitting, the oil in the seals will settle, and oil should seep through. you are probably okay. (same reason you probably have a little shaft play, because there is no hydraulic pressure in there) just run the car a little bit and see if it clears up

I am afraid of oil heading through the intake again, that's what grenaded the last motor. Is this normal in rear mount systems? I don't have a check valve on the feed side.

Ran it today, this time disconnecting the charge before the MAF/TB so I could put a rag against the charge pipe and spool it up to get the oil out. To my surprise, there was hardly any oil at all, barely enough to get part of my rag a little oily, then was blowing clean against my bare hand. Was cool to rev it up and put my hand over it and hear the BOV right there. There was oil still coming out of the downpipe and it was smoking a little, but after a few minutes of that it was clean as could be. Drove it and didn't get any hesitations or anything, worked like a champ and runs unbelievable. Only problem I'm having now is it idling after boosting, not sure why it is, but it runs like hell if I disengage the clutch and then dies. I was driving it with the MAF disconnected, reconnected and it ran really damn rough and would die every now and then. I'm afraid of running the MAF and getting oil on the elements. Just backed the car into the garage (at a slight angle nose down) to see if oil still comes out of the downpipe. As for the 1-way valve, what do you suggest? I'm selling the car, but would really like the next person to not have to deal with this. Thanks guys!

Check valve i used for my rear mount was a one way like 1psi valve that went ont the feed line RIGHT BEFORE the feed line reached the turbo. Purpose of the one way valve is to allow oil pressure to run through it and operate normally to the turbo since its opening/cracking point is (1psi), and when you shut down the car since there is 0 psi the valve shuts off the oil to the turbo and doesnt drain into it like what is probably happening to you. I had this problem in my car and without the check valve the car was DUMPing oil. For example i drive it its fine, i go to bed and in the morning the oil is "pooled up" like what you explained and when i start it up it would smoke or spray out all the oil residue all over the underside of the car lol I think i got my check valve at racer parts whole sale. Thats where i got my mocal oil pump as well. Hope you fix it and hope its not a big deal, im pretty sure the valve will solve the problem!! Keep us posted

I also have the mocal, it's on the return line about a foot from the outlet on the turbo. Sent you a PM btw. Thanks for the response.
