I made 710RWHP on 91 octane.....but through a stalled TH400 and 9" rear. It was also on a stingy dyno dynamics dyno that reads about 16% lower than the local dynojets (tested and proven).

364ci, T76gts on 14psi

I made around 594rwhp and 780rwt on a Mustang dyno, using a TH400 trans and a loose converter. 93 octane, no meth. It would be nice to see people post what type of trannys they are using, and if auto, post locked or unlocked...

Great topic. I like seeing what people put down on pump gas. A well designed combo is much more impressive to me than max numbers.

My car dyno'd 0-130 mph in 10.6 seconds on 15psi and 91 octane. The dyno was huge and had a monitor that was big enough to see from a 1/4 mile away. Coolest thing was you could dyno against a friend at the same time!

Mine 383 LT4 648 RWHP/612TQ on pump gas, DI, going Turbo to try it out. But the problem is that people forget the Domino affect of HP/TQ. One it is hard as hell to hook with insane amounts of torque, plus now you have to upgrade everything as the WILL fail, Clutch and or A4 Tranny, Rear End,ect, You will also have to upgrade, fuel system, ignition ect not counting the suspension. You will need sticky tires and don't think that you are going to get 40.000 miles out of a set. You must look at the TOTAL package not just making the numbers....

Thanks for all your input guys. Now I have one more Q... Give me some PICS of your single turbo set up!!! haha, am i asking too much?

This is a great thread now...

I'm leaning towards single turbo. My motor = LQ9 408 9.0CR LPE GT11 cam. Going to use Victor JR intake...
What size turbo do I want for my street car?
I was looking at the turbonetics GT-K series. Do I need to worry about if it is water cooled or not? I would prefer not to replace/rebuild turbo's often...
What about underhood temps?...
I am going to use meth + 93 and put in some 116 when I "go out" for a night.
Not to mention I plan on spraying N20 on the intercooler. (That did wonders for my old STI).. Though I hear if the AIC is too cold it messes up with the AFR...??

It's going to be a custom kit and i would like to keep power steering and A/C.

I respect everyone's opinions and greaty appreciate your input!

I guess what they say is true... no replacement for displacement. Only thing is I never thought Id hear myself say that

Still planning on think 408 although might go down to 370 not sure yet. Planning same cam I think as you. AFR 225 heads. Have my aps twin kit still in the boxes didn't bother installing it on my near stock ccrrent 346. I am running my fast 90/NW 90 combo.
Not sure what the advantage of that carb type manifold you want to run is. If was on a budget and didn't have the fast 90/90 combo already likely would have just run the l92 heads and l76 intake.
I wouldn't waste my time spraying the intercooler. Even spraying small shots normally
into the motor has great effects and you get more power from a shot than you would normally. Like a 50 shot can increase power like 100 hp on a turbo car.And you will get faster spool. Intercooler really only seems to help at higher speeds not even so much in quartermile. And not really at all around town. Then its better to have you alc injection or set up to run e85 if you have that available, I don't. We finally got 94 this year but its 10% ethanol.
I am shooting for magic 850rwhp off spray possibly 1000 rwhp on spray.Thats more than plenty and will likely run 600 to 700 rwhp in daily driving. Also plenty. On nittos and possibly throw on some et street radials for occasional fun. Not a track car never getting caged. You will of course get some lag as you go bigger and bigger with a single. This might be a good thing for traction but can get annoying if your powerband goes up too far. These cars are not like my 97 talon that can rev to 8500 in its sleep or my race talon that can rev to near 10,000. I would think if its mostly a street car you would want a powerband where the turbos are full in by 3500 or so max. 3500 to 6500 would be decent with boost coming in at 3000. I figure should be getting something similar to that with the twins. Buddy has sts car with the smallest turbo and it seems to hit full around 3000 to 3500. Course its a bit small for big big power.

Not sure if you are going auto or m6.If m6 then get two step, lingenfelter now offers one.If you are going auto you will need a good stall. Otherwise with big turbos you won't have dick much for boost off the line. You can gear down in a stick too to help lag when you are in the higher gears but a big turbo in a big auto could be a bit boring.Unless you like doing a lot of driving way up there in the rpm band like road racing type of stuff or bonneville salt flats stuff.
