Default world ls1x heads good for FI?

Are these heads any good? Does any one use them? They have thick decks and dont cost a ton? I am thinking about buying a set.

I guess they would be fine. Do they only have an as cast version? You also might check into a better spring and a little more seat pressure. How much power and boost will you be expecting?

That's the best price I've seen them for. For that cheap you could buy them and send them out to someone to port. You'd have huge numbers and come in slightly above or even with buying an off the shelf part. NA$TY-TA said he was going to do exactly that on his new setup.

I am hoping to make 1100rwhp with a s91. That is a cast version. The base spring did look a little weak. I am just looking for a thick deck. I should be in the 22-24psi max range on a 370 or 408.

Im running them but with a 1.550" spring and doing a solid roller setup so the spring pressure on them are way better.

We are going to do some hand blending and porting them to my intake. I haven't flowed them yet, but I do plan to. There still sitting in the box since I was waiting on JE for my pistons forever..........

I won't be using stock rockers so k can't help ya there. Sorry

Kyle

Like said, I would through a set of bigger springs on there and let it rip. Should be pretty good out the box. I'd like to know what they flow too.

They are cheap. I am building a street car this time around. Heat, Over Drive, Street tires, Stereo, Ect... I may go back with a set of the 317 6.0L heads. I am not looking to set records or run 8's this time around.
