well i got it back together!!!.........then found out i had a leaking head so i took it back a part, lucky it was just the passenger side took about 6hours then i hooked up the fans, tunrs out i hooked them up wrong got that worked out then i found out that i can not use my FMIC yet because i need a steal backing plate for the big red Bpv but Bob@ EPP has me covered on that one, so i put the prochager inter coolers back on and i got to take her out today and do some logging with HPT (thanks phill!!!!!) and from what i can tell from the seat of my pants dyno it was worth every set back to get it done!!!!!!!!!!! i willget some vids up of the cam and how it sounds as soon as i can. Thanks to every one that has helped me wether it was turning wrenches or answering my noob ??????s as soon as i get some dyno numbers ill post up, bob as soon as i get the backing plate ill send you some pics!!

well this took a long time to get back to gether then tuned but it was worth it!!! 490 RWHP!!! now i have to wait for it because i had to move ti KY and it on it was over from hawaii!!

the gauge say only 4 psi right now?? i think i need a pulley or maybe i have a boost leak?

probably belt slip from the 6 rib pulleys...

Tighten the **** out of the belt and see if that gets ya anymore... You should not be able to turn the belt 90° once it is tightened all the way.

i think i might need a shorter belt then because im bottomed out on the j- bracket what size belt would i need for a stock crank pulley and a 3.40 headunit pulley?

I went through all kinds of belt problems trying to find the right length. I just did trial and error. All the stores in my area are ignorant when it comes to belts.

When I was getting belt slip I did not have a lot of dust either but I could see it on the boost gauge. The boost would just fall all of a sudden and then start coming back up again.

Take a measurement with the tensioner all the way up, and all the way down. That will give you the range in sizes you can get. Obviously, don't get anything close to bottomed out length because you will have less adjustment potential that way.

good call!!! thanks as soon as the car get here that going to be the first thing i get to working on!!
one more thing how much boost should the 3.40 pulley make?
